Chapter 8; Zorans point of veiw

I was sitting on my bed, still waiting for news of Zinc, when I heard a small crying coming from under the bed. I slid off the bed and looked underneath to see Soul huddled there crying. I picked up the fluffy baby and cradled her in my arms as I went and sat on the window seal.
“Don’t worry, little kitten, Mama will come home.” I said.
Astro came through the door and sat in the pink chair. He looked like he was going to say something, but the tears fell out of his eyes and he dug his face in his hands. I got on my knees and crawled over to Astro. I pulled down his hand and I was going to ask him what had happened, but I didn’t need to because the moment I touched him all of his emotions flowed into me and I instantly knew what was wrong. I sat there on the ground for a few seconds with disbelief then I felt my hot tears start to stream down my face. I moaned in anguish and threw my face into my knees. ‘I could have saved her’ I thought.

Chapter 9; Astro's piont of veiw

Her funeral was to be held in two weeks and the news of that spread fast. She was to be buried as a hero. I could hardly believe how easily everyone had given up hope, but so had I. I sat in my room asking myself why it had to be this way. “I could have saved her” I said repeatedly. "It was my fault it. It should have been me in that robot's jaws.” I thought. Then my door creaked open. At first I thought it was Zoran, but then the friendly faces of Kennedy, Alajo, and Abacromby popped out. They all held flower bouquets, the memorial type with yellow and white flowers. Alajo walked up and handed his to me.
“I know I was mad at you Astro, but I would never have wished this upon you. I may have been gone then, but I’m here for you now.” Alajo said.
He sat next to me and put his hand on my shoulder. Then Kennedy and Abacromby joined us. They handed me their flower bouquets. The yellow flowers only made me miss Zinc more and I started crying. Alajo patted my back, Kennedy said comforting words like “She is in a better place now”, and Abacromby put his arm around my shoulder. After they left I stumbled into Dr.O’Shay’s room.
“Why have we lost hope?” I asked.
“Because there is no hope. I would have turned to Tenma, but he is in jail and is never allowed to work with robots again.”
I stood there silent for a little while then I got an idea.

Chapter 10; Doctor O'Shays piont of veiw

I heard a knock on the front door. When I answered it I saw that it was Kennedy, Alajo, and Abacromby. They held five flower bouquets. They handed me two of them.
“Hello, Dr.O’Shay. These are for you and Zoran.” Kennedy said as the other two were handing me the bouquets.
“Thank you children, come in. Astro is in his room.” I said.
“Thanks.” Kennedy said as they walked up the stairs.
“How nice.” I said as I went back into my room.
I did some paper work, because life goes on. An hour later I heard the front door open and close then Astro walked into my room.
“Why have we lost hope?” He asked.
“Because there is no hope, Astro. I would have turned to Tenma, but he is in jail and is never allowed to work with robots again.” I said.
Astro stood quiet, but then he looked like he had an idea.
“Doctor, isn’t Shadow an exact copy of Tenma?” Astro asked.
“Yes I suppose.”
“Then couldn’t we ask Shadow to fix Zinc?”
“Yes, but there is no guaranty that he’ll do it.”
“And there is nothing saying he won’t!” Astro said with determination.

Chapter 11; Astro's piont of veiw

We carefully put Zinc in the back of the car then we flew off towards the Blue Knights ship. We landed on the boarding dock and I ran out to greet the Blue Knight.
“Hello, Astro.” The Blue Knight said
“Hello. I need to speak to Shadow.” I said.
“Why?”
“I want to ask him to fix Zinc.”
“And what makes you think he’ll do that?!”
“Because she gave her life for your ship!” I yelled in frustration.
The Blue Knight looked like he was about to hit me, but I stood my ground.
“Blue Knight, back down.” Shadow said as he suddenly appeared. “Astro is once again correct. Zinc gave her life for this ship so I will fix her. Give her to me and come back in three days.”
My heart soared when I heard that. Zoran and I carried Zinc’s body over to Shadow. We kissed her head goodbye and then we left.
