Astroboy-online 2nd Skype meeting

On August 7th this forum had our first virtual get together over Skype. Now I was there but I wasn't able to fully participate since I was out of town and my only access to the internet was my iPod touch.

Now I am back and it seems that people are already talking about a 2nd meeting. Both from people who were there, or people who wanted to be there but were unable to make it. So I will be hosting this Skype meeting and of course any member is welcome to join.

Last time there was a poll to decide which date would be most appropriate, so we will be doing that again. I personally am voting for this Sunday since I would rather do it as soon as possible. Also I would like to do it before school starts.

If you are interested; pick a date that would most suit you and make a post saying that you're interested. Also be sure to add me on Skype ahead of time. If you don't know my Skype ID, take a look at my last post over at this thread.

If anyone also has any questions be sure to let me know.

And for those that do not have Skype and don't know what it is.

It is a free IM program that you can install on your computer and mobile device. It can be used to type to people, and to voice chat to 10 people at once. You can also use it to share files. There are features that Skype offers, but you have to pay for them. But most of them aren't really anything special. There is the feature where you can call a telephone through Skype, but you have to pay for this. And you also have to pay for video chatting to more than one other person.

Other then those two features, the program is free.

EDIT: For those wondering about the time of day. It will be the same as it was last time. If this is a problem be sure to let me know. Suggestions would also be helpful.

Today or next week will be fine to me however i can't make it that week after that i'm going to a Anime con about 200 kilometers from my house while i can use a laptop on sunday the 28th when in local time it would be 8am and the con would be over it's probably not going to work very well.

Okay guys. I don't think today is going to work out unless the majority of everyone wants to do it later today. Or we could do it at a different time today.

I'll leave it up to you guys but I would really prefer it if we did it on the 20th or the 21st. Either that or today. I'll leave it up to you guys.

I'm down for Sunday, the 21st. I don't think today is going to work particularly well either. There are a lot of people who are either still sleeping or who it's still the middle of the night for in some place.
