Just realized, Astro Boy premiered on TV at the same time the Beatles were introduced to America. There I was, on the cusp of puberty, with Astro Boy and Paul McCartney suddenly in my life! I was one happy fangirl!!!

OMG if the Internet existed back then I would have driven my parents INSANE. And you know what, Astro was HUGE in the US back then, so I'll BET YOU his popularity NEVER would have waned if we had an ABO back then!

Jeffbert, Cybotron and I would have all been "the kids" on here!!!

And I also bet Dr. Tezuka WOULD have known about us and visited. Can you imagine how cool that would have been?

If we ever have time travel, I'm going back, grabbing Dr. T, and bringing him back to NOW so he can see what's around the corner (I'd also tip him off about Disney/Simba/Lion King!)
