It's written in an episode of the 2003 series (when he's being created by Tenma I think) that he's born in 2003. Not sure where you got that 2043 from.

EDIT: Just found another. Astro's medal in the episode on the boat says 2003.

I mean three short movies with the three Astros^^.
But all three Astros in one movie? That would be a
interesting story.Above all when we put the three
