Just found this on Amazon.co.jp. Can't believe I didn't think to check before:

Comes out December 9 on DVD and Blu-ray. No English subs. I'll probably wait a bit for a release from another Asian country to save some money. I'm not even holding my breath for a US release as the movie did not perform very well.
As for other things to report. I got Ravex from Hong Kong. I wanted to put some pictures but the camera isn't in the house. The Chinese subs are not forced, once again. so it's all good. The packaging is very high quality and terrific illustrations, especially a two-page one in the middle pages of the booklet. But most surprising is a notice not to sell or play this album to anyone under the age of 18. o_O It's not a store sticker either, it has the same colors and design as the rest of the packaging.

Also on December 9th, Toei is releasing the 1990 2-hour long TV drama movie 手塚治虫物語 いとしき生命のために (Osamu Tezuka Dear Life Story) featuring Ikkō Furuya and Shōgo Kudō both in the role of Tezuka. (source: Amazon Japan, Japanese Wikipedia)
Yep, Hong Kong seems pretty good with English subs when they already exist. And we know they do as the movie was presented subtitled in France and New York.

Kimba 2009 just came out in Hong Kong with English subtitles.

This sucks, I had already bought the subtitle-less TW release...
EDIT: It's also REGION-FREE. Almost makes me scared it could be bootleg, but yes-asia isn't supposed to carry any.

Don't worry, F-Man. They are totally a legit company. Universe Laser has released the entire Heisei series of Godzilla films from 1984 to Destoroyah with English subtitles legitimately on Region 3.Wanna know why I mentioned them? TOHO is highly strict as to whom distributes their products and cracks down on knockoffs quick save for Megalon.
I own the first two 1984 and Biollante and they are relatively decent ,but are fairly bare-bones release for their price. I suggest you swipe the Jungle Emperor film if you want the subs.

I thought I bought that 3-eyed 1 set from yesasia, & that was almost certainly a bootleg.
