I'm honestly surprised that the whole thing would disappear! Some of it was posted as early as May of this year.

I know I'll live in the long run, but I loved that thread like a little kid loves a painting made of glitter paint and beads. But then they put it down on the table and the painting started on fire.

I think I'll start another one if we can't get it recovered.

It must have drifted back to its original place in the thread list before someone posted in it last week.

the forum was basically slammed back to the state it was in when the backup was made.

what I want to know is why isn't the hosting provider backing-up daily, all good hosting providers backup every night, and for relay important data they can even backup every hour, though that would be for e-commerce sites.

best practises is to backup nightly.
