RP:The Ochanimizu Files; Tenma's Therapy Sessions

[Astro Forever]

Tenma: He kept insisting that Nora should come, but I didn't want to hear of it. He became frustrated. I ignored him.

O'Shay: Did it get better the following days?

Tenma: Not really, I came home really late from work. Once I noticed he was still up, and it worried me. I asked him what was going on.

[Prettywitchiusaka]

T: He kept dodging the question though, trying to convince me nothing was wrong...But I could already see that his eyes were red from crying.

O; What did you do?

T; Nothing; I knew I couldn't force the issue, so I tucked him in and wished him goodnight. But regardless, it still bothered me.

[Astro Forever]

O'Shay: What were your thoughts?

Tenma: I didn't take the time to make sense of them. I was just worried, I didn't know about what exactly, but I shrugged it off and went to bed. The next morning, he was ready to go to school before I got out of bed, which was unusual.

O'Shay: Was there any reason?

Tenma: He told me he was going to visit a friend before leaving. I was surprised, because just like I was, he seemed to be lonely.

O'Shay: Why?

Tenma: Well after studying, and playing the piano, there wasn't that much time left, and his schoolmates didn't share his interests.

O'Shay: So, let's go back to that day. Didn't that change worry you?

Tenma: A little bit, but I had a big appointment at the ministry that day, so...

O'Shay: You never had time to worry, right?

[Prettywitchiusaka]

Tenma looks down, looking rather ashamed

T; Not really...

O'Shay stares at him in concern for a few breif seconds before talking once more

O'Shay: What would you do if you could go back in time?

Tenma: I would... in fact I would have liked to take the time to speak with him, but I did not know how, I never seemed to truly reach him.

O'Shay: Well, that's one thing you need to learn.

Tenma: I'll never forgive myself...

O'Shay: That's something else you will have to do, in time...

[Prettywitchiusaka]

T; No O'Shay...I'm afraid that day will never come...

O; But why not? Surely if Astro can learn to forgive you, than you can learn to frogive yourself.

Tenma's hands begin to tense up

T; I can't.

O; But why not?

T; Because...Because it's my fault that...that Tobio died...

Tears begin to roll down Tenma's face as O';Shay stares at him in slight shock

O'Shay waited a few minutes.

O'Shay: How?

Tenma: If I had spent more time with him, instead of letting him on his own, this wouldn't have happened.

O'Shay: what do you mean- how could you had prevented what happened?

Tenma: If i could had just- NO IT IS TOO LATE! Because I taught Tobio to be independent i cause his...................

Tenma started crying he was feeling so sad over what happened and now he realized something so horrifying that he could only cry and say..................
my fault............ my fault .................. was a robotic genius but a idiot who caused................

O'Shay WAS SPECHLESS- he wanted to help this man- but how?

O; Tenma...

He puts his hand on Tenma's shoulder, causing him to look up in surprise

O; Last week, you told me that the last place you saw Tobio alive was at the Ministry. Why is that? Because you took him there o his birthday?

T; Yes...You see, I...

Pauses breifly to sob a bit more before talking again

T; I'd taken him to...Laboratory 7...

O; Laboratory 7? You mean the old robot disposal facility?

T; Yes...

O; I take it he didn't approve, did he?

T; No...

[Astro Forever]

Tenma: ....well actually, he was happy to go to the minister, until he started wondering what was going on in Laboratory 7...

O'Shay: Ah, I see...

Tenma: I simply explained we were recycling older robots, and thought he would get excited to discover the new model I was planning to replace his old companion.

O'Shay: He wasn't?

Tenma: No, to my surprise... I couldn't understand his disappointment. I never thought his robot friend meant so much to him. It was such a primitive model.

O'Shay: And do you feel you understand better now?
