Osamu Tezuka Art progect

Okay so here is the thing. For an art progetc I have to write about an artist and say stuff like facts about his life and why I picked him. But there are still some stuff I need to know. Like how many manga's did he create in his life time? And what was his DOB and date of death? Not only that but I have to find two pieces by him and try to copy the techniques. I don't really want one of his manga covers or something like that, so does anyone know of any of his pieces? I heard that he used to draw really realistic bugs and stuff. Fankly, I'm having a really hard time trying to find this stuff online and I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out. Thank you.

I also have this image, not sure if you can use it or not... but I saw this for sale on Ebay over a year ago. I watched it go from a starting bid of $0.99 and it sold for over $300 US dollars. The bidders were like pit bulls near the end.

I have been checking around lately and I can't seem to find what year it was that Tezuka made the encyclopedia of bugs. Does anyone know?

Osamu tezuka made 8 seiries of manga and died Febuary 9th 1989

He made over 700 series and has more than 70 anime with his name on them.
