Have you ever had a secret before that you used to be afraid to tell when you were little, but now just seems so silly just not really one that you had to keep? Me for example. When I was little, about in 1st grade, the anime Yu-Gi-Oh came out. Well I watched it and I loved it, but I was afraid to tell anyone, because as far as I knew, I was the only girl in my class that watched it, and I didn't wanna seem weird or anything. Typical elementry school gender sterotypes! In this case I also had a legitimate reason as well, Dad didn't want me to watch it for some reason (I did anyway though!), so I didn't tell my parents either. Obviously this secret feels irelivent as I know there's other Yu-Gi-Oh fangirls besides me. XD

EDIT: Apparently I screwed up and accidently pressed an exclimation mark and ruined my title. Ugh! XD

You're not a joke, you fit right in!
So shake it off, and give a grin. Don't be afraid to stand your ground! Crazy, noisy BIZARRE Town!

Well that exclamation mark certainly captivated my attention and curiosity about your thread. Very interesting topic though I can't think of any silly secrets I've had.

I've always been good at keeping secrets, so it doesn't apply to me either. I guess it's because I'm so quiet and rarely speak anyways.

Me too. It made me think of this for some reason:

I was about 12 when we got our 1st color tv; which also had the distinction of being uhf capable. It was then that we learned about WDCA, which showed SPEED RACER, MARINE BOY, ULTRAMAN, JOHNNY SOKKO, CREATURE FEATURE & SATURDAY KUNG FU THEATER. We boys loved all that stuff, though I was a bit old for the cartoons, or, at least, so I thought. So, I may have jumped up & turned the station (literally) if a parent should begin descending the stairs to the basement, where our TV was.

We actually did have to turn a knob on the TV & may have needed to fine tune & adjust the antenna. :p

I used to be really shy about admitting what I really liked, for some reason. And I really liked Astro Boy a lot... So yes, admitting I liked watching Astro was not easy for me. It was not that I felt it was embarrassing to like him, it's just that I was shy of sharing what I liked. I remember my best friend commenting to her mom how I was shy to say his name in front of my parents. I hesitated once when my mother asked my what my favorite TV shows was...

Fortunately, I've changed since then. :)

Edit: Funny typo in the topic! I can change it if you want.
