Hey, I've got quite a few!

Ted Kennedy (when I was 9 - before the President was shot! We went to Mass in Hyannis!) I shook his hand. I also saw "The Bridge" at Chappaquiddick many years later :p

Cheech and Chong (after a show at the Cape Cod Coliseum, my brother & I - in our early teens and they weren't doing drugs - but had sandwiches and sodas, and they shared with us! Both very sweet)

As a waitress along the NY State Thruway I waited on this people:
- The Sir Douglas Quintet (all sat in a booth. But one of my girlfriends actually waited on Pink Floyd at the neighboring rest stop!)
- Euel Gibbons (and he ordered a very unhealthy thick milkshake)
- Louis Lefkowitz (NYS Attorney General for a gazillion years)
- Gene Shalit (film critic - at the Take Out counter)
- I THINK I may have waited on Elizabeth Taylor. I've NEVER seen eyes the color of hers - she had a big scarf wrapped around her head - look JUST like her and was very reserved - with 3 men in dark suits. They ate, she just had coffee. I was too shy to ask, but everyone else said it was definitely her.

Justin Hayward and John Lodge of the Moody Blues (both really lovely people - no "attitude")

John Rutter (considered the greatest living choral composer)

Chanticleer - the INCREDIBLE men's choir out of San Francisco

Most of the cast of the Orange County Choppers - well, I live right where they are, and my supervisor knew the Tuetels growing up (Mikey goes to her church).

I met Josh Turner when he first hit the country scene (back when I actually listened to country) and got his autograph. I was one of the last people in line and we were being rushed, so I had to be content with a picture and an autograph.

Ah, gotcha. When you said Ben 10, I thought you meant the voice actress and just that you couldn't remember her name.

I know I have heard of The Sir Douglas Quintet, but I am unsure of their songs, something about a girl named Rene, if I recall. I listen to oldies, but I guess this group was a bit after that phase.

@Jeffbert - the two songs I'm most familiar with are "She's about a mover" and "Mendocino"

I thought of one more celebrity - he was the lead voice in a "one-hit-wonder" band - The Blues Magoos and their big song was "We ain't got nothin' Yet." That fellow - his name is Peppy Castro - used to live about a mile from us and became friends with my husband (he used to help Peppy with his computer - a Mac). Really nice guy, and it's funny I didn't think of him because I think of him as a "friend" first  ! He knows virtually EVERYONE in the rock world and it's cool because it somehow makes the world "smaller" and we're all a lot closer in proximity then it might seem (6 degrees of separation!:lol :)

Peppy became famous with that hit back in the 60's (and I actually purchased it back then, as I really liked the song a lot) - and he was only 17! Since then he's had other bands, but also made serious $$$ WRITING JINGLES! Most American's have heard his work - a "secret" kind of fame! :p
