If Jetter Mars returned which abilities he could get?

Any ideas? Or you would preffer him without built-in weapons?

He already has enhanced hearing, or so it would seem. His other abilities include superhuman-strength, and flight. However, that's about it.
April's "loose cannon" depiction seems plausible. However, I have recently begun to wonder, that if the show had continued, would more abilities have surfaced? I haven't seen every episode (and the ones I saw may have had their subbing "borrowed" from subs of the Spanish dub), so I can't say for certain if all the powers mentioned so far were the only ones.
Back to his possible development, I seriously wonder about that... Look at Atom's laser fingers (or "digi-beams"
), which he obtained in the '80s series: what if that was an idea left over from Jetter Mars? What if Mars was supposed to gain that ability at some point?
There is also the theory that Mars can "grow". No one is quite sure what this means, or even if it's true, or not. It could reference mental development, and we certainly see quite a bit of that. However, Atom can mature mentally to an extent, as well, so that would mean that this ability was not unique to Mars.
As for what powers he /should/ have, I cannot say. I suppose it would depend on how the plot would pan out, assuming he ever made a comeback, with his own show, or as an important side character in a new series with Atom.

I was divided between giving him an arm canon or just let him without having any built-in weapon.
The idea would be the both finishing off a enemy robot who could not listen the reason and keept causing rampage.
Btw, the ability to grow up may be pretty much false, he doesn't increasse size in the series for all episodes which I watched.
His mind may mature instead of the body, but I'd preffer him like a brat.

Actually, the series didn't last long enough to show whether he could develop physically or not. And in any case, he /does/ seem a touch less bratty, the later into the series you go (unfortunately, I have not seen many episodes, and the ones I watched appear to have been removed; so I cannot say anything with much certainty).

The ability of growing up doesn't make sense since he is not a living being.
All of his tissues would have to grow up alongside his body.
So, I take that he would grow up mentally.
But, back to the original subject: any more ideas about abilities or he just should be all brawl?
Hello, some of you seem to be wondering about Marss abilities and the importance of growth in the series. This is a pretty interesting topic and I would like to give my 2 cents.
In the case of Marss abilities, he can spin really fast which allows him to drill into his enemies. There is also a diagram of Marss abilities in the Jetter Mars Encyclopedia. As for the abilities that Mars should have, Im fine with the ones he already has. I would be neat if he used his drill attack more often. I thought it was pretty cool.
The idea that Mars could grow physically came from the Game Boy Advance game Astro Boy: The Omega Factor. It was never mentioned in the anime if Mars could grow physically. Instead, the anime is focused on his mental growth.
Its true that Mars becomes less bratty over the course of the series. A lot of the earlier episodes involved Mars learning the importance of emotions such as happiness, sadness, and fear, and good behaviors such as patience and kindness. In later episodes, they became less about emotions and more about putting the morals Mars had learned into practice.
For example, in episode 26, Mars runs away from home once he discovers the harsh experiments done by the Ministry of Science on robots in the past. After Mars learns the complicated nature of Dr. Kawashimos situation, he decides of forgive him and return home. However, his personality is still playful and a mischievous. For example in 14, Mars surprises Miri by dressing up as a monster.
In the end, Marss growth allows him to understand the importance of the heart and compassion, which influenced his actions throughout the series. I like the direction that the series took for Marss character development. He retained his personality, but at the same time he was able to grow mentally as well.
The difference between Marss and Astro Boys growth is that Astro Boy learns these kinds of things very quickly. Therefore, I felt that Astro Boys moral growth was not the main focus of the series. Mars was born with no sense of right and wrong. The series revolved around how he learns right from wrong with the help of his friends and family.

Welcome here, friend.
I've watched several episodes before they went off and yep, Mars does learn about things related to how life does works.
The growing up feels quite a farse which doesn't make sense...
He would have to be a artificial living being instead of being a robot.
Because his internals would have to build spare parts for internal artificial organs and as well artificial bones and even skin to make a reliable growing up.
So, the mind was the best point.
But, I still like a lot the possibility of him getting involved with Uran, they would be perfect.
