My bad! It will be 2 games spread over 3 nights. BTW, I watched the Nova special all about Watson; Rodney Brooks' references to HAL 9000 were somehow relevant, but I forgot why.

My local schedule indicates that Jeopardy will rerun the Watson match starting on 9/12. For those who missed it the 1st time, I recommend you record it this time, as it is truly interesting to see Waton's errors in parsing & interpreting figures of speech & such.

Watson goes to med school, & then Dr. Watson goes to work, diagnosing cancer!

Of note, is the paragraph about Watson losing weight, but gaining computing power. Nothing was said about Watson becoming self-aware, though, so, I guess the robots & computers Vs. humans war is still just a dream.

Interesting stuff; may be the beginning of something good! Interpretation of natural language has always been troublesome for TV robot characters, such as Hymie.
