Thank you astro forever
sometimes in school it's hard because we have to learn most of our subjects in my second language which is french we do history, geography, writing, reading, oral communication all in french and on top of that we have to do math, science, reading, writing, and oral communication in english. We used to do math in french last year it was really hard but now it seems easier in english. In french immersion you have to do french math from kinderjarden all the way up to grade six.

Yes, I see what you mean. When I had textbooks in English when I was studying, it was a little harder to remember the information in them than if they had been in French even if I understand all the words.
When it's something that holds my interest however, the language doesn't seem to matter, I naturally remember everything!
But not everything is that interesting in school.

My day has been pretty good except for having a cold and slight fever all day. It's the third cold I've had since January 1st. I don't know how you guys in North America have been doing with the cold/flu epidemic that's been going around, but you need to be careful not to get what's been going around.

I hear ya, Shiyonasan!! I've had three "bugs" since December - more stomach bugs - but just awful! I woman I work with GOT the flu shot, but got the flu anyway!!
BTW . . . you referred to us here in "North America" . . . where are you located, if you don't mind me asking? Australia? I like to think about all the different places people here are from. It knocks me out to think how it's SUMMER down there!

I've heard the flu shot has been pretty hit and miss as to determining whether or not you are protected from the sickness that's been going around. In fact, I heard a statistic today that only 9% percent of people 65 and older who got a flu shot within the last couple months hadn't gotten the cold or flu. Only 9% percent.
To answer your question, I live in the southwestern United States. The reason I said "you guys in North America" was because I've heard that's where the cold/flu has been going around. It's mainly in the U.S., but I've heard that people are getting it in Canada and Mexico as well.

I'm surprised that I haven't gotten a cold yet or a sore throat. However, I do have a very good immune system, but the flu does remind me to wash my hands often. Man I wish my brother would stop running around town all the time, his immune system is running down all the time."Shiyonasan" wrote:My day has been pretty good except for having a cold and slight fever all day. I have a very good immune system as well. I'm one of those people who only gets sick once a year, not counting seasonal allergies. I guess the bugs that are going around are bad enough that even my immune system couldn't stop them from affecting me.
Washing your hands often does help, even if only a little bit.

I don't know anyone at work who washes his hands as much as I do, especially before eating anything. I got sick anyway.

I should be a little more careful and get more sleep, however, that could probably help. But there is just so much I want to do every day!
