had a bad day
today and the others day of this week aren't going so well for me. Today I got my geography test back and got a 53 percent. I was about to cry right there at school never in my life have I gotten a 1 on a test. Then yesterday I got a math fractions quiz back 43 percent it was a redo so I redid it and got 100 percent. Still knowing I got those marks make me sad my teachers are quite hard markers. I usually get really high grades in school but this week has been a little overwhelming, I've been really tired, now my througt is sore, my headhurts. Oon monday I had supply teachers all day, and man I dislike supplies cause I can never get work done they can't handle my classmates. Plus we've had alot of homework too and we are starting a new geography unit and science.

Aww hang in there. Its not that bad, you're probably just having an "off" week. I get those sometimes. I remember getting a 20 (yes, a 20) on a quiz one time. I was so upset I cried when I got home. The next week, however, I ended up doing very good in the class.
Like I said, it sounds like it's just not your week. Do the best you can, get lots of sleep, and don't give up!

Here's a big ol' cyber hug for you!!
And I agree with SOPikaMeowMeow . . . you'll do fine over the long run, because that's the kind of student you are. It's especially difficult when you don't have your regular teachers, or have a teacher that is hard to please (my dopey poetry professor's final grade for me kept me from graduating summa cum laude . . . eeergggh :mad
And if you are feeling poorly, then you should stay home, rest, or at least let your school nurse know. That might also have contributed to not performing as well.
So, feel better racoonangel and try to not let one week get you down. We're here for you!!

Oh, I once got a very, very low score in an exam, and what scared me is that I had studied. :d oh: I wasn't used to that type of grade either.
hmy: I was totally discouraged, because it wasn't like I hadn't tried at all. But I had a classmate who understood very well, and she helped me get back on track by explaining all the basics that I was obviously lacking. So pretty much like you, I managed to do better later on.
This is frustrating, but I guess it happens to all of us.
I wasn't at my best either when I joined this forum, and it brought me so much joy and fun.

Hang in there, it can only get better.
I once obtained an overall average of 24% in eighth grade math, boy was my dad infuriated!
"They can't give you less than a 25% if you never show up for class, and you managed worse!" I remember him saying
Problem was, I was in French immersion, and had been since my first day of school. For whatever reason, this math teacher's French was so terrible, that he just taught us in English. I was so confused, especially because French was native tongue. Not sure how he got away with it...
