Agreed. I believe I followed a good bit of one of the early seasons through to the finals. Nowadays, I only find the auditions the most interesting part of the show, good or bad. Good for the awesome performances and bad for the humor (most of the time; some of the auditions are weird or creepy). After the auditions, I quickly lose interest.
