Aww I don't know why that's so cute, acidic tears xD haha. I agree with Little Brown Fox, its probably just pressure. I think he's putting out a fire there. Astro is pretty emotional though, A lot of the chapters I have has him at least shedding a tear. Well I would too If my robot friends and human friends I just met died almost every chapter.

Huh, I hadn't noticed the fire until you mentioned it... the high-pressure water jets theory still applies, as he would need a high-pressure water hose to put out the fire normally, I'm sure.

O.K., he is extinguishing a fire that surrounds a helicopter in which key characters were riding. The bats had attacked the helicopter, & Atom went to save the people.

I recall someone wondered about his capacity for holding MG ammunition, but here, it is obvious he uses HAMMER SPACE for 3 things:

1. ammunition stowage
2. tears
3. & disposing of the shell casings!

Now as far as the tears go, maybe he just extracts water from the moisture in the air, as he did as "Atom Cow".
