Scans of Doujinshi Tora!Tora!Tora!

Okay so I got to scanning a little quicker than I thought. Here are the scans of the doujinshi.

There are a few things that should be known about this doujinshi...

1.) The doujinshi focuses on the 2003 fabrication of Atlas and Daichi and Atlas AS Daichi.
2.) Various artists contributed to the doujinshi so the art changes as well as story.
3.) Much of it is humor but it roles into serious scenarios from time to time.
4.) I cannot think of anything to warn anyone about, it's a clean doujinshi.

I wish I could read the Japanese on this. I can see that both the vertical R2L and horizontal L2R formats are used with "roman" punctuation. I get the idea that you have to be an artist to write legible Japanese.

I've studied Japanese academically for about 6 years so I'm fairly decent with understanding it spoken and written, however I'm not anywhere near the level of translating anything. I am at the point where I understand overall what is going on. If I took the time with my kanji dictionary I'd be able to understand a little bit more. I'm just no where near confident in my understandings to give a translation beyond paraphrasing.

Next group.

This one is about Atlas as Daichi attending high school (LOL) where Rock and a certain famous surgeon are also in attendance. Slightly AU but really fun and sweet. Atlas is nervous because he's a robot in attendance at a normal human school, and is darn aware of discrimination.






The part that's so touching...


I kinda like the whole punkish look the artist gave Kuro/Black Jack for this story (he also appears later in the doujinshi). He was supposed to be a little bit of a trouble maker for the Japanese school systems so why not?

Okay next batch here.

The first 'story' with the very cartoonish sketchy art style is playing around with the lyrics of the Astro Boy theme song, as well as "Franken's" (I cannot remember his English name) "doraibu" ('driving') song - all the while making Atlas's day a little hard!






The next story is just making fun of Atlas and Atom's relationship and the use of upgrades.

It goes from so cute to so creepy so fast...

Hmmm....

oops! Sorry! I meant to say third chapter! 70 pages long? That's a very long doujinshi!
Oh and by the way, thanks! I've always wanted to see more of that astro and atlas relationship one! lol.
