How did you decide/get your avatar?

Wow very cool stories on how you two got your avatars Little Brown Fox and Earthshine! As for me, I just found my avatar on google. I've always wanted to attatch an image to my signature, but I never found a really good one for it yet. Maybe next year I'll try and find one over the summer if I'm not busy with summer school.

And, as for my signature because someone asked me what the heck was going on with it... It's Nightwing and Damian from DC Comics (Batman). It's actually an animated gif where they are goofily dancing but it's too big for this site.

If you have an off site storage for pictures (such as DA or photobucket, or ever a website) you can add as large a sig picture as you like by entering it in html using <left bracket>IMG<right bracket> url <left bracket>/IMG<right bracket>

Hope that makes sense I can't put the actual html code up because it won't enter!

Then you can fit the biggest GIF you want, but don't make the size on the screen too big as your sig is on EVERY post!

Thanks for the tip Penguin! I'll keep that in mind but the actual picture and gif itself is BIG and I don't want it to clutter up the screen on this site. It's somewhere along the lines of 500 x 244... It's the size itself that has stopped me.

Well you could use the Gimp to scale it down to say 250x122 or a bit smaller.
Even scaled down to the size you have now, but as a GIF (might have to locate the file offsite if the file size is too big) it would still work as an animated GIF.

So, I'm rapidly changing my avatar. It's very hard for me to decide. I wanted to keep my first avatar, but I changed my mind. (You gotta change things sometime right?) Anyways, I wanted another miku avatar at first, but I couldn't find any good ones. (Or any GIF images that were 100x100 pixels at the least.) So, I took off and searched for Black Jack and Pinoko Icons. I guess this one's ok. Just found it on google though. I would search for an astro boy icon, but I don't wanna seem like an Astro boy freak. (JK!) I found a really funny frame from Tezuka's Black Jack when Black Jack noticed Pinoko Shaking her panties off. But maybe that's a little bit too inappropriate for ABO.

Anyways, I might just go back and leave my avatar the way it was before; Just that ordinary Hatsune Miku avatar. Still, It's hard to decide.
