Anime/ Manga!!!!!!!!

I was trying to re watch moonphase on netflix because I watched a long time ago, then stopped. Actually, the same thing happend again.

I'm also re watching Cyborg 009 as well. I first watched it when I was abou 8 or 9, but I forgot about it since I never had all the dvds of them.

So far, that's it. The rest is just Tezuka anime.

Anime and Manga that I like? There is too many. After I finished watching one series, I couldn't stop. Then I started reading manga...
Oh! There is this one manga that I check for updates all the time. 1/2 Prince. I love that one.

My partner loves 1/2 Prince! They have been a fan of that one for many many years. Not sure how long it is though.

I watched Moonphase a few years ago, liked it.

Netflix has begun offering language selection on some anime, I watched Samurai Champloo, & am currently watching Fullmetal Alchemist w/ subs & Japanese audio.

I'm currently keeping up with the modern anime of Hunter X Hunter and watching through Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star.

I can't say enough good things about Hunter X Hunter. Excellent writing, interesting characters with deep thought put behind each of their stories and personalities, well-thought out battles, clever humor...the list could go on and on. It can be dark at times for a shonen series, so I wouldn't recommend it to anyone under the age of 16. You won't be disappointed if you decide to watch it.

As for Hokuto no Ken, I was somewhat surprised at how enjoyable it is. I'm not a big fan of overly gory media, but Hokuto no Ken handles the gore in a way that is not in-your-face, which I appreciate. It's basically a serious version of early Dragon Ball. I'm still pretty early in the series, but I've enjoyed every bit of it so far.

I also watch Hunter X Hunter, right now, I am at the limit of the episodes on CRUNCHYROLL, & will wait a week or so, before watching another, mainly because I want to watch 2, & the other day, only a preview of #110 was available for non-members.

Hokuto no Ken makes me roar with laughter, every time he uses his death chops on enemies. Heads explode, scoundrels beg for mercy as their skulls begin to swell. It is so silly!

Just remembered that a new season of Silver Spoon is coming out in January, so I'll have to start watching that too next year along with the just announced Sword Art Online II. Plus, I'm thinking of going through Slam Dunk next year. 2014 is looking pretty interesting already!

Speaking of Sword Art Online, I'll be watching the New Year's special tonight. Interested to see how that turned out.

Oh cool, another Hunter X Hunter fan! That's a smart idea to watch 2 in a row like that. Those 23 minutes go by so fast. I'll be watching Episode 110 tonight. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Also, Kenshiro's power is pretty ridiculous. He's so overpowered, but I think that's what makes the show so entertaining.

I have been watching Soul Eater recently. My favourite character is Excalibur. I think I am almost have way through the series. This is my first time watching it, so whenever I am watching a new anime that I think is awesome (which is about most of them I have seen), I spent almost all day watching it. I should stay off the computer the rest of the day...

My brother watches Soul Eater. I think he finished watching it a long time ago actually. I never watched it cause I thought the artwork and the storyline seemed a little funny. But I guess that's just me. (Haha!)

Ehhh. I've still been purging a lot of manga and anime lately, especially series that are very obviously anime or manga (big goo-goo eyes and the like). I still love Tezuka but I've been having some difficulty with newer stuff.

It's hard for me to find any anime that does not have anything raunchy in it. (I think it's very annoying when they try to take up space in the anime by putting something X rated in it. I'm not saying every anime is like that. Just some.)Why can't there be any anime that was like Tezuka or Shotaro's anymore? It's hard to find any anime without that stuff anymore. That's why I stick to watching Pokemon and Sonic X and other anime like that. Though there was this one Pokemon episode that was canceled... (you know what, It's a bit too inappropriate to say!)

Anyways, Are there any anime without that adult rated stuff in it? (Just asking)
