However, at the end the robot is destroyed :(

I just read about the Studio Ghibli film "Spirited Away" yesterday at the library (Which I first saw when I was little.) and it won several awards for being the best Anime film world wide. It is still popular today, and is a huge hit in Japan.

Know where I found this out from? World's records 2014 book. It was at the library and I look at them every year a new one comes out. They are very interesting! :) !

I love Stuido Ghibli! I think they're one of the best active studios in the world right now.

These are the Ghibli movies I LOVED:
Princess Mononoke (Tied for #1 favorite)
Ponyo (Other favorite- The Little Mermaid is my all-time favorite fairy tale)
Grave of the Fireflies
My Neighbor Totoro
Arrietty
Kiki's Delivery Service

I wasn't crazy about Spirited Away, and the others I haven't seen yet.
Baby, don't let it slip, it's a once in a lifetime ship and it's never gonna come again...

Indeed. If there was no Studio Ghibli I would never be able to draw anything like Kazenoya or Kaze Ni Naru. (My original manga and doujinshi)

Man, I loved Arrietty. And Kiki! :D

I haven't seen all of Studio Ghibli's movies yet (still need to see Pom Poko and Porco Rosso) but I really love all of the ones I've seen so far. I have a vague recollection of Kiki from when I was younger, but the first one I watched all the way through was Howl's Moving Castle. I really loved that one, probably one of my favorite modern day anime. Christian Bale as Howl...yeah. More recently I watched Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and I found a copy of the Borrowers from a used book store, the book that inspired Arriety.

The only Ghibli movies I've seen are Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and My Neighbor Totoro. I loved all three of them. One day I'll get around to watching the other films.

I need to watch Princess Mononoke again sometime. It was one of Roger Eberts favorites apparently. I love Spirited Away! I always find new details every time I watch it.
