"Tetsuwan Atom" wrote:
I loved TTZ, my favorite episodes being I Sing the Electric Dream and Eye of the Beholder. There was another one though I can't remember the name of where the scenario was that everyone upon the age of about 18 had to choose a body that they would be molded into. They had a choice of about three, and one girl refused to conform.

One of my favorite lines of the entire series come from that show; "I'm not pretty but I'm most certainly not ugly either."
This is the Title you where looking for : ''Number 12 Looks Just Like You''

As for me favourie episodes of TTZ hard to choose but maybe a few i can think of : ''To serve men'' "Time Enough at Last" ''Hocus-Pocus and Frisby'' ''Five Characters in Search of an Exit'' ''A Game of Pool'' ''No Time Like the Past'' ''The Hunt'' ''The Last Night of a Jockey'' ''A Kind of a Stopwatch'' ''A Nice Place to Visit'' i know it is a bit much but i think this are the best episodes (or at least somewhat close) you should check out ,when it comes to seasons i think season 3 has the best episodes overall.
Yes that's the name of the episode. I really enjoyed that episode. Then again most of TTZ had great adventures and I enjoyed them.

Right now I am dependent on the Syfy for watching these episode as I do not own the series nor do I have membership with Netflix.

Is that the one with the head suspended in mid air by a few hoses going into it? I would rather watch the film as made, than the MST3K version.

I never saw Baby Jane, it just did not seem like my kind of horror.

Close, it was a woman whose head was put in a box because it just wouldn't die and she was evil and had her boy-toy scientist try and find her a suitable body to reattach her head to. There was this igor thing in 'the basement' as well whose mask was TIED in the back and you could see it.

Baby Jane and Bad Seed were more like psychological horrors to me, and the most scary thing about them was that every single thing about them could happen, and do happen on a routine basis. But it's just so shocking it's quite terrifying.

IS THIS IT?

Anyway, there is another one with brains with spinal cords attacking. I think it may have inspired an episode of FUTURAMA.

YES! That's it.

He must eventually use his discovery on someone close to him, and hilarity ensues.

That's pretty much truth for this film.

I think I know what one you're talking about... did the brains look like they had eyes still attached?

Oh dear... No that doesn't bring forth any memory... But it looks like something that MST3K might have riffed on.

There are plenty of films about brains & transplanting bodies. Here is another one:

Atomic Brain is about an elderly woman's scheme to recover her youth by having a scientist transfer her mind or brain into the body of a young woman. So they place an ad for young women, or a job that is suited to only young women. Those who answer the ad are screened for suitable characteristics, etc., those who are unsuitable are eliminated, & the one is is suitable:

There was a 'craze' in the 50s and 60s for these kinds of movies though wasn't there? That and mutants due to the scare of atomic power and the like. Such as my favorite atomic energy cautionary tale from that period: Attack of the Killer Shrews or just The Killer Shrews.

Roscoe P. (James) at his Best. I loved Shrews!

For all that matters, he was in one TTZ!

Though hardly in the same league, Shock Corridor is a great film! Best portrays a loony who thinks he is a Confederate officer, serving under Lee. He & others are in a mental institution that an investigative reporter targets for a Pulitzer prize, if he can just uncover the truth about a murder that ocured there. But it will cost him dearly. :d evil:
