i didn't bother downloading it to my mp3 player cause it was a bad ad. They should've animated it instead :P

Wow. I had totally forgotten this thread. 4 years already? How time flies. And now I'm googling for this ad and finding myself asking about it.

I'm quite amazed to see several people on this thread judging this ad so harshly and apparently not getting the humor behind it. Who cares about the budget? The very point of the joke is that Atom here is not shown doing spectacular things, but enjoying a flight like the next guy, chilling out and relaxing.

And getting a kid to portray Atom here would have killed the joke as well. It works *because* we see a thirtysomething sporting that weird, unrealistic haircut. A kid or CGI Atom would just have been cutesy and mundane.

Anyway, thanks for the links and sorry for those who don't get the joke.

I LOVE this, JayWicky -- BTW I once found ANOTHER in this series . . . there were two flight attendants who noticed one of Astro's "spikes" was coming "apart" and she brought him a comb (which he promptly used to fix his "spike") - it didn't have English subtitles though, but you could tell what was going on.

Have you seen that one?

I think that is probably the best cosplay hairdo of Astro that I have ever seen on an actor.
