Woohoo! Don't need 'em removed just yet!! Turns out I just picked up a virus somewhere.
They did swab my throat for strep and pricked my finger for mono, but both turned out negative!
So now I just need to wait a few days to be sure this is the case.

I was given a prescription for some sort of medicine that I have gargle then spit out, that way my throat becomes numb so I can eat and breath normally.
It's especially weird when my lips and tongue go numb, too..!

I recall using a similar thing, though its effects were rather limited in duration. I think it was chloraseptic spray, pump spay, that is. I have not suffered a mouth sore for a long time, but don't tell Murphy!

I made the error of trying to eat something spicy at one of those occasions; bad idea. Sorry for your pain, Angel of the Stars.

Donna Eding, my great grandma, had a stroke Monday evening. I visited her in the Hospital in Grand Rapids Tuesday evening. She was taken off life support Wednesday at 5:00pm. She lived until this morning.
Her funeral will be either this Monday or Tuesday.
I miss her so much. A lot. I wish this was just like Divergent and I could just say "This isn't real" and everything would be ok.

My Mother, Your Great Grandmother, and one of my Cousins, it's been a rough couple of months. I share your grief Angel. There is also someone else here who has a parent on death's door, and I'm feeling empathy for her too.
