It looks like I was outside goosing a well pump into starting when it happened.
Went to rinse the dinner dishes and NO WATER!!! I checked all the breakers and then got the multimeter to look for power at the motor relay. Seems the problem was ants in the contacts. So I guess I had to DEBUG the problem!!!!

Congratulations Jeffy!!!!

For a moment, I thought you might have timed the event with the 45th anniversary of Neil Armstrong's first step on the moon (you DID mark the special day . . . !)

No, actually, it sneaked up on me; though I do recall the excitement of the time. I had a model of the Saturn V rocket, complete with LEM/Eagle inside. I do not recall any details, though. I stank at building models.

I actually feel sorry for the millennials, as they take space flight for granted. We were expecting flying cars, domed moon bases, every house would have its own Gort-like robot servant, etc. :d evil: By now, we should have had colonies on Mars, whole generation born there, etc. But the hope for the future is so very different now than it was then. PCs & microwave ovens are great, but it seems the expectation for future developments is far more limited; that is, we already know what will happen, just not when. & the certainty of it is near 100%

Mine was the kind that goes on a shelf, though I doubt it ever made it that far. I was crappy at building models, the Testors glue was about the worst stuff I ever used. Then, I found THE SQUADRON SHOP. I was in heaven! So many models of tanks, planes, etc! & none were MONOGRAM! TAMIYA ruled that place. They had this quick drying liquid brush on glue, that soaked in between the parts, & worked great. It had cases of people's finished models, including cars, though most were military.

But the place went under!

I never bothered with the flying rocket models.

I would hardly call you unworthy, as I ran up my post count by extensive moderating without moderation!
