I would have thought that was from Westward Ha! ELV 50? I don't recall Atom in a cowboy outfit in Colosso. Unless that scene was on the cutting room floor and you got it from the Japanese DVD.

No, as I said, during Atom serious battle against Franken, there was a sequence of silly images that were shown. That is one of them.

In #50, Atom goes to the West (Wesrward, Ha!), Higeoyaji is the one one whose ego is far better than his aim, & Atom has to shoot for him, from a hidden position. Only then, does Lamp decide not to challenge him to a duel.

Yeah, I found it. Those early episodes were very crude, almost like flip card animation, reminded me of the way they filmed crusader rabbit. That one scene was almost subliminal, if you blinked you missed it!
