There appears to be a scale error, as atom seems a bit larger than he ought to be.














Poor naïve Papa, he is all too eager to show this stranger how Atom's energy injector works.


The man causes a distraction, & grabs the injector--


I think this energy injector is an insecticide sprayer.

Thank you, JeffBert! Watching these images I can't help but wonder what Japanese children must have thought of this variation on "Tetsuan Atom". I can only try to remember what I thought when I saw the live-action "Batman" and "Superman" TV shows back when I was a kid in the sixties. While it is fun to watch your favorite comic book character come to life, you have to make allowances for the changes that will be made when a character crosses over from medium to another.
