As I understand it, I offered to pledge an additional $221, if the pledges totaled $2479 by 10/03

1. I just looked at the DORORO page, & it lacks only $442. I will match the other 1/2 , if another $221 is pledged by my 56th birthday.

Anyway, I will extend my offer another week, though I would much prefer to rely on addition people pledging. Does anyone know how many pledged for BJ?

Doesn't look like the offer needs any extending, like Tetsuwan Penguin said, we made it! It was all thanks to your offer or we would still be stuck over $200 behind where we are now.

Do I understand that right that you will make the pledge in one week? That's a tad disappointing...

i CLICKED [CANCEL], THEN AS THE CHOICE INCLUDED ANOTHER [CANCEL], I failed to see the [OK] until the second attempt! Anyway, do not expect me to do this again, $271 is a bit more than I ought to spend on 1/2 of a series that will undoubtedly cost me even more to get the DVD set!

Actually yes, Anime Sols already informed me that each $50 makes you credited in one episode, one for each multiple of $50 pledged.

Since there were two people overseas that paypal'd me at least $50 each for this, that means I will also be able to get their names credited as well.

Again, huge thanks to Jeffbert for making this possible. And I totally get you. I too won't be contributing as much for Set 2 after all this. I won't be contributing anything, actually.

Big thanks to a good friend who raised his pledge by a whopping $100 to make Jeffbert's deal happen, another friend who raised his by $15, and Tetsuwan Atom who raised his pledge by $10, and the mystery person from Twitter who paypal'd me $50. Really, this was an amazing team effort and I'm amazed that it went so well.

Half of one of Tezuka's most important work, both in anime and manga, will now be available to the west. The importance of that can't be overstated.
