I'm going to be spending a lot of my winter break doing a whole lot of nothing, but I also want to be productive.
So during that time I am opening up some requests! I can draw whatever you want (and I need the challenge).
My only rules for this forum are; no explicit stuff, keep it strictly in the Tezuka/Astro Boy world, no anthros/furries and nothing gross.
All works will vary from sketches to inked versions depending on my mood, I may or may not color them too depending on how I feel about the piece.
Multiple characters okay, backgrounds okay.
Keep in mind though, these are REQUESTS and NOT commissions.
All works drawn will be posted after winter break is over (in January). I will be closing requests in mid-December or depending on how many I get and can do.
So what do you all want to see?

Hi, I'm Dorkotron, but would you be able to draw Dr. Tenma and Nanora Inoue?
I feel like a giant nerdlord asking this

Can you finish up the atom and uran as robin and batgirl drawing? You never did get that in color. BTW did you read the rest of that story?

While we are in the Zelda bandwagon again, I would love a good picture of Midona. Maybe side-by-side with both her small and tall selves. I have always liked that adorable little imp

The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Could you draw Astro realistically, as if he were real in a real setting? I have been planning to do this myself for a while now ever since I saw this piece: http://www.youthedesigner.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/19-astro-boy-art.jpg It is always nice to see what other artists interpret him.

Well that's one theory on how Astro would really look. I always got the impression from the Manga that he looked quite human and could actually be mistaken for a real boy. In many stories the characters did not know (other than by reputation ) that Astro was a robot.
The Pluto manga shows the other extreme on this take.

Indeed, Osamu Tezuka wanted him to look and act like a real boy, after being inspired by the Disney Films. And so, if he were to be built in the future, he would most likely be homage to Tezuka. Whereas, that piece I showed in my previous post looked as if he was created by robots to ‘avenge’ them, hence the title ‘1975 Astroboy Revenge Evolution’.
The Pluto manga is a good example of what he would look like if he where built to be homage to Tezuka.

Haha you giant nerd (as if that is ever a negative thing)! I'll be happy to draw them. However what would you like them to be doing? Or did you want this as a strict open-interpretation?
Can you finish up the atom and uran as robin and batgirl drawing? You never did get that in color. BTW did you read the rest of that story?
Looking back on my posts I realized that I never posted it, I did in fact color it but somehow had completely neglected to post it. I'll get around to that as soon as possible (I'll have to fish the drawing out of my archives then re-scan it or take a photo of it). I did actually read all of it and it was a JOY to read. I really did not expect Uran to have such a huge role in that story and it took me by surprise.
Since you asked me to draw Link, I'll request Zelda (from ALTTP)
Although I wanted this forum to request only Tezuka-based themes I'll be happy to do this too because I like the series and that seems fair. I'm not sure if I ever drew her in her ALTTP form. It will be fun to do.

Ooo... I have a really good mental image of this piece.

I have not done realism in a couple years but would love to give this a shot.
