Yeah, I couldn't figure out just how tall 1:4 was myself but that's a good guess. At 4' tall, I think it's almost live size. Kinda makes me want it XD

:T

...

I am not sure the seller even knows what this is... I thought at first this could be a nightlight but on closer inspection maybe not... Huh.

It's awfully scuffed up.

I agree. I don't think the seller knows either. I noticed there's red around his boots area so I actually wonder if maybe there's an outer shell to this of his body and he lost it

Don't worry about the double post, the edit opportunity for the other post was expired so you had little choice other than to double post ;)

Doraemon Atom! Very nice. I have been nostalgic for Doraemon lately so it's ironic that you posted this.

I didn't watch Doraemon as a small child but rather while I was taking Japanese in high school we would watch episodes of the original series (I'm not sure how many versions there are :blush :) every Friday. Each episode was entirely in Japanese but had grammar, vocabulary or a cultural theme that we had learned throughout the entire week. It was fun and a good way to "wrap up" the week and really helped all of us listen to the language better because we would have to note when a word was said and what it was and so on.

Doraemon reminds me of those days so I get nostalgic for it on occasion!

As for your new showcased items... these look an awful lot like the sorts of things found on etsy and at conventions! I like the expression on Atom's face.

Speaking of Etsy... I found these earrings

They're really cute, subtle and classy and not too expensive (though I think the metal might corrode easily). I also think I may have shown these at some point in the forum years ago. Also not sure if this counts as real merchandise but, hey, they're unique.

Reason: added earrings
