Hey, if anyone wants to complain about their Asian exclusive decision, you can.

If you have Facebook and Twitter that is. XD Doubt this will change anything but it would be nice if they knew our disappointment.

Very very doubtful anything will come of it, but if enough people voice their disappointment they might consider bringing them over (though it's doubtful, corporations usually don't do anything unless they start losing money over a decision).

my thoughts exactly. If nothing else. It was oddly therapeutic being able to feel like I was able to voice my thoughts on this to them.

I was in the local anime/comics store today and they had lots of those Pops. I gave a thought to picking up the 4th Doctor one, and they were out of stock on the Tardis. Lot's of Starwars junk too.

yeah, part of me has been tempted to start a collection of these myself. But in between not being sure if I want to start another collection and knowing one of the figures I want most will alone cost me $50, I've become hesitant.
And there's a slight childish principle here. I'm unsure I want to spend any money on this line at all now that they've dangled the one I want most just out of my reach. I know. It's immature but like I said, it's the principle of the thing
Doesn't help that the same company DID release an Astro Boy figure in America and... I don't like it XD

It's not the Funko Pop! line; that particular line has the most appeal to me, and I imagine, to the more casual crowd. I wouldn't likely ever purchase one I didn't like. I already had seen ones that appealed to me (well, mostly the one, in the form of Toothless); it kind of sucks that the one I'd love best to own in probably the entire set is one of the ones that is least attainable. :T And you'd think, with a prospective comeback to relevance in the US and other places coming in the next few years with the new show and the possible movie deal...

Yeah, if I started a collection I would hardly be the "gotta have them all" kind of guy. Heck, I don't even want to buy all the Astro Boy ones. Mainly just Astro, Ochanomizu, Uran, and maybe Pluto. I've never been the collect them all" type of person for anything I'm into. I'm very choosy.
As for attainability, well, I found out they sold these at New York Comic Con which should help make it appear more online and therefore, a little cheaper in time.

I saw it on Amazon not too long ago for around $40 at the lowest. Of course it's probably gone by now but... still, it's going down...

Buh. I wish the stupidity with Paypal was resolved already...
