Yeah it was a "B" movie, but the story was based on a book by one of my favorite authors, Clive Cussler.

I caught this on TCM once. The whole movie is pure hilarity.

This was the other half of a double feature with "Voyage to the bottom of the sea" when I saw both films as a kid.

Parts of that movie are up on Youtube. Somewhere buried in the back of a shelf in my family room I have that movie on VHS. AFAIK it was never released onto DVD. The movie was based on a little know Verne novel called "Facing the Flag".
