The price doesn't look bad either.
The really weird thing about the Japanese writing to me is how it can be written either horizontally or vertically.

I found a couple of interesting things on ebay.

This one just cracks me up. It's some sort of scroll wallpaper. They even claim that it's rare and vintage from the 60s or 70s. And they want $55 for it!

And I know we had some other toys like this one posted but I wasn't sure if this one was on here.

Tenma's lego face is hilarious. What's going on with him?? Ebay's slogan should be "hours of fun." There's just so much weird stuff to look at!

Here's Astro wearing a very ugly shirt:

That's great! I personally wouldn't wear that shirt, but I imagine there's some folks on here who would!

Speaking of t-shirts, I found this awesome-looking t-shirt on Ebay:

Wonderful artwork on that shirt! Mens XL, that would fit me like a tent though. Oh well.

LOL Where ever that wall scroll came from it can't possibly be from the 60s or 70s since those are clearly 80S designs XD

This is because "Astro" is the French translation for "Astro Boy". So this is actually the same title written twice in different languages :p

It doesn't look like much at first but it looks like they made an 8 inch version of the Japanese figure packaged with Atlas as they show on the back of the box. Not only that, they for some reason made his hand transparent and finally, there's no mention of Takara or Tezuka logo on the box. A box which has some funny wording which leads me to believe that this is a bootleg.
