It is rather late in the series, but here ge is:

Bing correctly(?) translates the name; though if not for this character, the above google translation of "Accompanying work" would likely be all. Anyway, he is also known as ヒゲオヤジ / Higeoyaji "Bearded dad" (bing trans).

In this version, he is a joke. A detective who lives on cases of finding missing pets. :cry:

In the manga, live-action, & earlier anime, Higeoyaji is an ex-detective who frequently acts as a consultant for the police dept. In this version, like Rodney Dangerfield, he gets no respect.

金三角 / Kinsankaku / Kin Sankaku / “Golden triangle” I believe he is named after the area in south East Asia associated with the illegal drug trade, also called “Golden triangle”. Anyway, though he almost always played the vilian, here he is the victim.

Tawashi is monitoring his watch, because Skunk had said that at such an hour & minute, he would steal the gold in this vault. I believe that Arsene Lupin (not just the III) used this technique to show the police just how helpless they were when going against him. Skunk does likewise.
