Chapter 6: “Welcome”

I woke up on a very comfortable couch my eyes would barely respond so I kept them closed until I could rub them more. The room was completely silent and I could tell I was alone, so I rubbed my eyes and peeked open. It was the same room I saw before with all the equipment and the “speaker chairs”. I got up from the couch and looked around the lights were on which gave me a better view. There was the couch I just sat up from sitting along a wall, in the middle of the room there were 3 giant chairs surrounded by speakers that sat behind you if you were to sit in one, to the left of the room there was a table with small pieces of equipment which I had no idea what they were for.
I walked over to the table and saw some drawers so I decided to peek inside, as I did I saw a huge draw with nothing but needles inside and I quickly shut it and decided to get out of there not wanting to know what they were for. I quickly walked to the door and before I could attempt to use the handle it turned on it’s own and the door opened revealing a Fox in a nurses uniform it looked like.

Fox: “Oh your awake how are you feeling?”
Tyler: “Uhh well my head hurts a little.” I said in a croaked voice.
Fox: “Oh well you did hit your head sorry we left you alone we had to attend to something why don’t follow me and we can get everything set up?”
Tyler: “Um ok.” I wondered what “set up” meant but I decided I had no choice but to follow this wolf.
Wolf: “By the way my name is Ms. Jasmine and yours?
Tyler: “Oh my names Tyler.”
We finally stopped at a door with her name labeled on it and she opened it up into a office with a small desk and a seat on each side which she told me to sit on as she booted up her computer.
Tyler: “Hey what kind of orphanage is this?” I said obviously implying about all the furries.
Ms. Jasmine: “Well you’re at R-Case Orphans and I’m sure it’s not any kind that your used to but everything will be explained. Anyway we have talked to your friend Daniel.”
Tyler: “Hey wait a minute if you talked to him why did you have to ask my name?!” I interrupted seeming very surprised.
Ms. Jasmine: “Well if you would of let me finished I would of said so. We had to make sure you weren’t a liar and don’t worry we do that to every child we find even Daniel.”
Tyler: “Oh well sorry.”
Ms. Jasmine: “No problem anyway he told us his story and also yours, now is it true you ran away?”
I gulped realizing they might send me back I had this ‘not ready’ look on my face as I thought should I lie when I realized they would know DUH.
Tyler: “Uh yeah.”
Ms. Jasmine: “I know what you’re thinking that we will have to send you back.” This hit me so hard fear in me that I tensed up to the point that anyone could tell. “Well we aren’t going to it is a little weird since we have never gotten any humans here but we do accept both Furry and Human alike.” All this relief hit me as well as I slumped in my chair. “Ha anyway we do have legal rights to simple drop you of your old family but first I need to know where they live.” She said in the most calming voice I could ever hear, so I gave her my address and city and just like that I no longer had to go back home.
“Welcome to ‘R-Case Orphans’ Tyler.”
“Thanks.” I said still looking a bit confused I just couldn’t figure out what R-Case meant. “Hey Ms. Jasmine what does R-Case mean?”
“Good question the R stands for Regression- the Case part gets more complicated you see Tyler we take in kids or their case of usually abuse and try and ‘fix’ that.”
“Fix it like um how?” I knew it had to do something with that work ‘Regression’ but I did not know what that meant.
“Well first off before I tell you and you think we are crazy or something I want to re assure you that it is not and besides you already qualify for one part of it with that diaper you are wearing.” She said in a reassuring voice.
“Oh well you see..” I said stammering until she interrupted me.
“Don’t worry Daniel explained it like I said but we think you should keep it on she said.” pointing to the yellow stain that showed through as part of the diaper was pulled up my pants. I showed a deep shade of red when she noticed this. “Now Daniel has agreed to this ‘Treatment’ we give here and there are some that don’t agree.” I sensed a tone of darkness in her voice. “I guess it is easier if you read about it cause I can’t stand the stares I get from kids when I tell them about it.” Ms. Jasmine said handing me a brochure.
I opened it and was surprised to see several kids all ‘Furry’ wearing a diaper or in some sort of childish clothing which all looked out of place. The first paragraph read:
‘We here at ’R-Case Orphans’ help kids of all ages cope with their abuse they may have suffered in the past, and before they get adopted to loving families but before we let you go we help them forget about their past life’s through Regression.’
“Look I’m sorry but what the heck is regression?!” I demanded from the wolf.
“Just keep reading it will explain and please calm down.”
‘Essentially what we do here is regress them back to childhood and in some cases infant-hood back when most of their life’s where fine and they didn’t have to deal with any of this abuse and hopefully they will completely forget it and once we set them back to their original age they should be normal functioning members of a society and can live normal lives in their new families!’
“WHAT? Turn me into a baby can you even do that and why isn’t this illegal that could mess them up more.”
“Oh if I had a dollar every time I heard a kid say that. It is perfectly safe and so far we have not had one case that ends in disaster though some of them resist and we don’t like forcing it and trust me we have more than one way to do that but it is much better to just not resist.”
“I’m sorry this just seems crazy ok.”
“MM I tell you what for now you don’t have to start your regression you can rest and get used to this place but you must trust me you will be much happier if you start it sooner.” She said getting up and leading me somewhere.
“Ok um thanks but where we going?”
“To the playroom to meet everyone you remember it you fainted there.” Jasmine said laughing.
“Oh heh yeah it was just I thought I was a goner.” She suddenly stopped.
“Why is that?”
“Well when I walked in everybody just stopped and for some reason I thought I was gonna die uhh yeah that’s why.”
“Oh ok.” She said as we began walking again to the a door entitled ‘PLAYROOM’ which I must of missed before.
She opened up the door and like before everybody froze and the rooms feel silent though I saw Daniel but he looked completely different but at least he was there.
“Everybody this is Tyler he is a new ‘Case’ here and I want you to make him welcome.” Most of the class just smiled to each other like they knew something that I didn’t. Jasmine leaned down to me: “Ok have fun and try and make some friends I need to go get some things done.” She said walking away.
“Hey wai!” But she was already gone, and everybody began playing again as noise flooded the room. I quickly ran over to Daniel to confront him.
“Dude why are you dressed like that?”
“Hey! Well I figured what the heck we have to all of us.” He said as I looked around.
“Well I guess you just look a little funny.”
“Yeah well you will too hehe, and btw why did you faint I heard something about that?”
“Oh I was scared.. Everybody was a furry and they were starring at me when I first came here I thought I was gonna die sounds funny I know.”
“No it’s not funny if you feel scared just tell someone now that you know it’s safe here.” Daniel said reassuring me.
“Ok but it seems I don’t fit in.”
“Well yeah but I’m sure they will accept you, and how come you aren’t dressed like me?”
I was about to answer him when someone else came ‘Crawling’ up to us, he was a wolf dressed in some overalls with snaps on the crotch that looked really childish and you could tell he was diapered. “Hi I’m Dillion and I think I can answer that. A lot of us did the same thing that your friend did we did not want to accept the ‘regression’ method at first but eventually accepted it and it’s ok but don’t think it wont happen.
“Oh you really should try it, I like it.” Daniel said with a big smile on his face.
“How so? And it has only been an hour how could you get used to this so fast?” I asked with a perplexed look on my face.
“Um dude it has been a day you were out for longer than you thought.”
“Really?” I checked my watch and he was right. “Oh well wow.”
“Hey looks like you have a dirty diaper there.” Daniel said pointing to the pee stain.
“Oh yeah I forgot I better go get it changed.”
“Yeah just go tell a nurse.” Dillion said pointing to the two in the room. So I walked over to one a Raccoon who looked in her late 20s.
“Excuse me I wet my self can I get something to change?”
“Oh sure Tyler.” I was raised onto a changing table, which surprised me.
“Hey I can change my self.” Forgetting about the regression treatment which would be soon to come.
“Tyler you are going to have to get used to a ‘Nanny’ to change all your diapers soon enough so we will start now!”

“Oh yeah ok.” I said as she UN-buttoned my pants than untapped my wet diaper. “Do you have to go potty?”
“What?” Being caught off guard.
“You have been asleep for almost a day and rules are you are allowed to use the toilet for #2 only before your regression treatment begins so do you?”
“Um no miss.”
“MM odd you have been asleep for almost a day are you sure you aren’t hungry than?”
“Actually now that you mention it I am pretty hungry.
“MM ok I will get you something to eat after your change.” She said wiping my ‘privates’ down and taking out a bottle of baby powder. Than she powdered me down paying extra attention to my ‘#1 Private area’ and got out some baby oiled than repeated the same routine. Next she got out a diaper but this time it was different it had kiddy prints all over it and I didn’t want to notice what they were it was embarrassing enough o have to go through this. SO she tapped me up and sat me down without my pants on this time.

“Hey what about my pants?”
“Nobody but the caretakers use pants here kiddo you will get used to it now go play while I get you something to eat.”
I gripped walking away back to Daniel who was playing with some toy cars by him self.
“SO how’d it go?”
“Fine but I she wont let me have my pants back.
“That’s ok no one here is wearing any hehe.”
“Yeah that’s what she said.” I stated in a depressing manner.
“Well cheer up everybody seems happy here I know I am.
“You know she said some of the kids here resist this treatment and they have ‘ways’ of forcing them into it I wonder what she meant by that?”
“I dunno maybe they give them a spanking.”
One kid actually walked up to us rather than crawl and he looked like he had something to say he was a fox just like Daniel only a little taller.
“I overheard you asked about the punishments right?”
“Yeah what are they?”
“Well it is nothing like physical punishment like a spanking they aren’t allowed to do that by law here.”
“Than what do they do?”
“Well it starts pretty small like a ‘Timeout’ which is basically solitary confinement until you give in, and if that does not work they move onto bigger things. like embarrassment treatments like leaving you only in a diaper for everybody to see which can scare you into acceptance I really don’t know of any other punishments since most just accept it. However there has been one in my stay here who has gotten the highest one which is more of a forcing rather than a punishment.”
“What is it?”
“It can be of either two things, they can drug you into acceptance which works 100 % of the time; but the other one is a bit stranger and can be used in two cases. One for punishment and the other for extreme cases where the kid is in shock or won’t listen to anyone but him self.”
“Let me guess it has something to do with those strange chairs in that one room right?”
“Yes they use hypnosis.”
“WHAT?” Both Daniel and me said and we knew he had to be lying or joking with us.
“It’s true the kid they used this on still goes here but he’s in bed right now he was way different when he got here like a real rebel we all felt sad for him cause he also had a bit of shock and eventually they decided on hypnosis. After it worked he was way different and did almost anything that the nannies told him.
“You have to be joking us how can that be real?”
“If you don’t believe me you can ask one of them when the he waked up his name is Bobby.”
“Fine I will.”
“By the way the names Rick and I’m 14 how about you?”
“Oh 13 names Tyler like they said.”
“I’m Daniel 11.”
“Nice to meet you both I hope you enjoy your stay here.” Rick said to both of us.

Chapter 7 “A little investigation”

After our little chat with Rick I decided to talk to Daniel in private.
“What’s up dude?” Daniel asked with a slightly concerned look on his face.
“Daniel ok first off don’t you think the hypnosis thing Rick mentioned is a little odd, cause I think it is?” I asked in a assertive manner.
“No I mean.” Was all Daniel could say before In interrupted him.
“NO! Are you crazy?!”
“No um Tyler they used one of the chairs on me I really didn’t mind it.” Daniel said with a grinny smile on his face.
“WHAT! I mean why what did they do to you? I asked almost bringing some attention to our little conversation.
“Oh well they told to relax and they turned on this weird music and began asking me questions I really don’t remember it all it was almost after I got there right after you left though.”
“Don’t remember it all? Oh ok you can go play now.” I said walking away the fact that Daniel had not remembered his ‘Hypno Trip’ kind of scared me and I had to figure out what exactly they were doing; and so I was going to wait until all of the nannies were looking away and I could make a run for the door and hopefully it wont be locked.
After about 10 minutes I finally had my chance. So I started sneaking up to the door when I noticed a nanny began to turn around and walk over so I made it look like I was just walking closer to the door, but I couldn’t hide the scared look on my face.
“What’s wrong Tyler?” the Nanny said.
“Oh I was just wondering um… How come Rick gets to wear pants cause I remember you saying only adults could and it has been bugging me.” I said trying to lie and get any attention away on the topic of the door as possible.
“Oh well Rick is a special case we have to tell everyone the pants thing it is not a official rule but we like to enforce it.”
“Oh ok thanks.” Right when I finished she walked away which gave me my one and only chance and so I walked up to the door and to my luck it was unlocked. I quickly ran out shutting the door quietly behind me and went to go find the Hypno room I saw before.
It took me a minute to remember where it was but once I did I noticed the lights were off to my luck the only problem I would have is if there were cameras somewhere which I could have to chance and so I walked in. I turned on the lights and walked over to examine the 3 bizarre looking chairs. There were no switches or anything just speakers tons of speakers, so I walked over to the drug cabinet that I saw before. All the syringes were empty and unlabeled, but one draw contained a series of drugs that it looked like.
There were bottles of Ritalin with labeled names on it but there were other drugs which I had never seen before. They were unlabeled and in locked cases it was obvious that someone did not want people snooping in here. I was looking deeper into the drawer when I heard a noise and decided that my little time here was enough so I closed the drawer and ran off to the door but it was too late Ms. Jasmine was standing right there.
“Just what do you think your doing young man?!” She practically yelled at me in the obvious question.
“Hey you have no right to yell at me you brainwashed my friend!” I screamed back at her.
“Sometimes things are done which is best, you will learn that and I think I know what is best for you right now!” She said picking me up which caught me by surprise, so she carried me to a room I had not seen before as I fidgeted to get loose which was to no avail. The room looked like another nursery only it was filled with cribs and one changing table. She put me down in one and quickly shut the top so I could not get out.
“Hey let me out! This isn’t funny.” I said getting very scared.
“It is not meant to be funny just a little conditioning punishment trust me it is best for you.” She said as I did not reply not knowing what she meant at all, she walked over to a bunch of switches and did something when suddenly some soothing music came through the room than she shut the door without saying another word.
I could not figure out why she did that but the music did seem soothing, and after 10 minutes of listening to it I realized I was getting drowsy. It was at that point when I realized they were hypnotizing me just like Daniel; and it took it about only 20 minutes for me to fall into a deep sleep even without any blankets or pillows!
I woke up several hours later to me sucking my thumb! “Eww why did I do that?” I realized I was wet again. “I should of kept that sleeper…. Wait I don’t wear sleepers oh well at least I had my diaper on. Why did I just say I wanted to wear a sleeper?” I was talking to no one, which I was not noticing.
“Well have a nice nap sweetie?” I heard Ms. Jasmine say.
“Um yeah I don’t remember going to sleep her.”
“That’s ok you had a rough day sleep can do that to ya you were out for 3 hours. Anyway let’s get your diaper changed your soaked!”
“Ok thanks.”
She lifted me out of the crib after opening up the top and put me on the changing table, than she removed my diaper and got out some baby wipes to clean me up with, than she powdered me used a tiny amount of baby oil and got me into a new diaper.
“There now do you want some toddler clothes or a Pajama sleeper, it is getting late anyway before story time and I suggest the sleeper it is comfy.”
“Oh um the sleeper?” I barely knew what she meant all these thoughts kept racing into my mind for some reason and I couldn’t ignore them.
“It’s ok your head is probably feeling a little light headed heh but it will clear up.” She said taking my shirt off.
“Oh ok cool.” I just let her dress me into this sleeper with a wolf in a diaper on the front without caring something about this did not seem right but the sleeper was so snug and comfy I didn’t care.
“OK let’s get you back to the nursery but before we do just one more thing to do.”
“What?” I asked.
“You need to take your medicine trust me it is for the best.”
“Wh what kind of medicine.”
“Ritalin it’s ok most children here take it, it’s good for you.”
“Um ok.” Something about this didn’t seem right but her voice was just so accepting and calm that thinking suddenly felt like a burden on my part I just wanted to relax.
“She took out a container with my name on it! And took out 2 pills and after getting a glass of water she instructed me on how to take them.
“Now don’t get too used to that glass it is bottles from here out ok?”
“Ok.” I said after taking both pills.
Than we both walked back to the nursery with me holding her hand and told me to go play and story time would be here soon.
I walked over to Daniel who looked really happy playing.
“HEY Tyler where did you go we heard you got in trouble or somethin?”
“Um no I was just taking a nap and had to go take my medicine.”
“Oh I need to take that too I’m sure a lot happier though.” He said picking up some more building blocks.
“Yeah but I feel sort of funny I keep getting these thoughts.” I said sitting down.
Rick crawled over to us and looked me up and down.
“MM Did they make you take the medicine?”
“Yeah why?” I said
“That is Ritalin it is another way that they control us I have to take it but not as much, tell me where did you go I saw you run out by your self?”
“Oh um…….I dunno I took a nap.”
“SIGH yeah they got ya with the Hypno nap.”
“Hypno nap?”
“Never mind it is almost bed time I will explain in the morning.” Rick said crawling away.
