I'm sure I watched the canadian version as a child, but I was far too young to remember it now... but alot of folks were older & really want to see the version they remember. Not to mention the foolishly hardcore among us (myself included
) just want to see all the different versions. Part of what I find so fascinating about the Astro Boy phenomenon is it's world-wide appeal, and seeing how the different versions were presented to different people at different times, etc.
