do i have to fill up all the info or just part of it

well the info that I have in my proxy setup is
**the PASV mode & Proxy server checked
**The address of the proxy server eg. proxy.server.com.au or wateva
**both HTTP option boxes checked
Under SOCKS proxy I have
** both SOCKS oprion boxes checked & SOCKS4 selected
**NOTHING in the server port
& NOTHING under Exeptions

As for the server busy response I am not sure but if it helps try posting the FTP's address under the login option & then put the user name & password in the other fields ie. address ftp://142.179.63.219:6872 user name. ast password. ast
If you still get the same response try the Getright homepage & see if they have any ideas of what may be the problem

I just was thinking the same thing. I have been so busy with college, that I was not really sure when I last heard from him.
 I fear that his Chronic Fatigue Syndrome may have gotten the better of him. :(

I'm still here. :) I feel so needed! :D

Hey Loüßëãr, have you checked out getting cable? I mean, if you can get it in your area?

I've been putting it off for ages because I didn't feel I could justify the cost. But I just found out that Internode have $50/month broadband. I already pay $30/month for dialup though OzEmail, and my mum pays $10/month for her e-mail access, so minus the expense of making local phone calls it's almost the same price to switch the home network to broadband. Prices have come way down and Telstra is being given a run for their money.

I'll be getting the lowdown off Whirlpool when I get myself organised.

I use a Linksys router, and split the broadband cost with my mom. :D If you decide to do likewise, I reccomend Linksys BEFSR41, Bullguard, and eDonkey. Bullguard lets you create rules for programs' accessing the web, cookies being accepted or denied, changes to you regestry, and execution of scripts. It is less expensive than MCaffee or Norton, and it is designed to protect you when using peer to peer programs.

Welcome back Dr Frag!! Yes your presence has been missed from our discussions!!
As for broadband, I only pay $17 per mth with TPG & until it gets a bit cheaper to get for broadband around here ( between $50 + in the country) I will struggle with Dial up.
If i get a good tax return then maybe ;) but at least i can access the stuff I want i just have to be really really patient ;) ;) :wahah:
