I have a problem...

Hello everyone. I have a problem with the file: "Astro Boy 2003 - ep01 - Power Up!: that I downloaded from the FTP.

For some reason, it won't open with any of the video players that I have (WMP and DivX).

A window comes up and says that WMP has to close and it has the following info:

Error Signature
AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.2980 ModName: xvid.ax
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0003d928

If anybody has any suggestions they will be greatly appreciated.

First I'd try uninstalling the XviD Codec (control panel - add/remove programs), and then reinstall the latest version (Koepi's site seems to be down so here's a search link for the file you need).

If that doesn't work, install ffdshow (latest alpha version is usually best - I'm using the one from Apr. 4th 2003).

You can use Vlc media player to play it.I did it.
