I spent some time and 3 semester hours in college drawing, but was turned off to the second course that focused on the human figure. I just did not want to work with naked people. And besides that, the prof said that many models were far from 'attractive', and included both sexes. :wacko:

I had been drawing from magazene ads, but the stiffness in my fingers has been too much.

Jeffbert: I draw the basic image in pencil and then scan it onto the computer where I usually ink it and colour it, using good old photoshop of course . I only really enjoy colouring on the computer though..
Yeah, I had to sit through a couple of naked people exhibits a while ago. It wasnt pretty by any means .

Hey, Anapan, I incorporated your suggestions into my next pic, which was inspired by that first statue you linked. I liked the style of it but I didnt like the face at all, so I decided to make a realistically styled Astro but with an in-proportion face. He is supposed to look like a japanese 10 year old boy so think of it what you may..

Hmmm i just realised i never uploaded that colour version of the pencil Atom drawing i put up ages ago..... it looks bad to me now because i've gotten so much better ^^;
