How to save money on gasoline:

This is funny, I once put exactly $6.66 of gas in my car. The cashier would not accept $6.66 in payment, he was insistant upon my paying only $6.00.


Unless I am erred, there are two references to this figure in the Bible, the second one is the one of great controversy. The first one refers to the amount of gold that was brought into King Solomon's treasury in one particular year. I believe the unit of measure was the talent, although this somehow seems strange. :huh:

No, in fact, I have not been to any movies (other than DVDs) for a few months. I have a paper due this weekend, and really would rather watch anime.

Somebody mentioned going to see Dawn of the dead the other week, & I thought he was talking about a DVD.

I have a few really decent theaters from which to choose, both have stadium seats and 100% digital sound. One has indoor parking and 18 theatres, but 15- 20 minutes of previews, while the other has outdoor parking and 8 theatres but only one preview, so the popcorn will still be warm when the feature starts. The local grocery store had for the longest time offered bulk candy, I alway loaded up on French Burnt peanuts, and smuggled them into the theatre. I figured, I was paying $5 - $6 for a matinee ticket, $4 for a drink, why should they complain about me brining my own candy?

Just as long as you don't pay $6.66 for it. In Australia we've gotten around this problem by abolishing 1 and 2 cent coins and rounding everything off to the nearest 5 cents. Protects us from getting possessed by Satan and stuff.

BTW, Adam Maclean, you're spot on. People get paranoid about it because they've read about what "can" happen. Control is still in our hands and all we have to do is not let it happen (ie. use your Firewall properly, keep your virus scanner updated, use adaware, patch your OS, watch filename extensions on attachments, etc).

Geeee. Warm popcorn? Indoor parking? Wow. Unknown here. Well I wasn't going to go. I had this dream about triffids.
But I will get a code red a small buttered popcorn and a hotdog and make a lunch of it. The Lord keep me safe from the Red Devil.

Thanks for uploading the first episode Cybotron. The subtitles are much better than on the pirated DVD, althought some of the colours on the internet file aren't as colourful. Still great though.

I tried downloading files in #TV-Nikon last night but didn't get a file. I think I was in queue 9/10 and never progressed in the queue. The files there were around 130 meg as opposed to the 77 meg file on your site.

There must be a lot of demand. I wonder if there is another site or program to use to find these files... all astroboy files seemed to have disapeered from Kazaa.
