Astroboy script needed for fan comic
The colorized version of the pic looks really sweet. Wish I could draw like that. Sorry I didn't reply right away, stuff came up and I just got back from spring break. Anyway, can I have you're E-mail address so that I may E-mail you on script ideas and all that and if you want, talk about illustrations for my fic.

Much nicer DrFrag. You can tell I forgot to adjust the levels ont that one
. Anyway, here is what im thinking will be the final Astro design for the comic:

This is actually just a sketch I colored so the line quality isnt too great but you get the idea (he's actually mostly a combination of all 3 tv incarnations).
LLJade, have you checked your pm's recently?

Well, to answer your question: It would only be legal (to a degree) for me to do commissioned Astroboy works if the result of that work was non-profit.
For example: You could pay me to do an Astroboy comic, and as long as the comic itself didnt detract any revenues from the Tezuka Corp. (As in, you couldnt re-distribute the comic for profit or gain) then it is legal, although the true definition states that im not allowed to make my fan comic wtihout permission of the rightfull owner and distribute it in any means... but as long as your not charging for it or detracting from the revenues of the official owners nobody really cares.. So by all means if you want to commission me for some work please do!

What about satire or parody? these ought to be legal as long as they truly are satirical or parody. On the other hand, I am not too sure if I would wecome such a thing, but as long as it was in good taste, why not?

I haven't put it up yet on any websites, what I usually do is when I have a certain about of chapters done, that's when I start putting my fics up. I'm working on chapter 4 at the moment, just finished chapter 3 and waiting for DrFrag to give his review and corrections and all that. Maybe once I get 4 done, I'll start putting up chapters on websites. Been wanting expand chapter 2 just a bit, not too much. Chapter 3 is 11 pages long, so I don't want to make chapter 2 just as long. I just want to add on to it, it's too short.
