Hi Susan! You're welcome here and I think you'll like Astroboy.
He's a boy robot with a heart and emotions and he fights for justice. He started as a Japanese comic in 1951, and was later animated in the early 60s and then the 80s. A new series was made last year and is now showing around the world.
Animals appear occasionally in Astroboy.

(awwwwww!
In one episode he met a robot who could transform into animals. But most of the time he's fighting bad robots and criminals. Sometimes robot killer bees.
I've heard of Lassie, but what's Wendy and Fury?

....OMG This forum's got plenty of pages. Is this boy really that famous? In that case I'll vote for him at the next U.S. president elections.
No way! The US president must be born on US soil, and I'm quite sure Astro wasn't born there

Moreover, there must be a law so the US president must be a human being, at least it is said in Day of the Tentacle

The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.
