I used to watch that cartoon in the 80s around the time Astroboy was on. It wasn't translated, no one knew the name, and it wasn't ever listed in the TV guide. But it was so cool! B)

It's an italian cartoon called 'La Linea' which used to run in the70's as a filler between TV programms. I just buyed the DVD which was recently released here in europe.
I did a google search for getting me some pics, alas the most websites of it are in german and italian language .

I too watched them many times during the 80's and finally I got the DVD. It's just wonderful :wahah: .
On the beginning of every episode this little guy always goes like "mmmmmm - daaaaaa!",
and at the end he usually keep falling down somewhere .

Cool! I found it on Amazon.de, but I don't know enough of the language to get through the shopping process.

My favourites bits were scenes with water, and I think one time the ground turned into a dynamite fuse?
And of course there was his classic spit-spraying laugh!

You don't necessarily have to buy the DVD though. I'm sure there a lot of 'La Linea' episodes around on Kaaza and eMule. I'll see if I'm able to download some of 'em.
