Here comes the French professor

deJavou is written "déjà vu", litterally that is "already seen" of course

The course is finished, exam tomorrow

The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

if you pay close attention you might be able to pick up some audio glitches, its very faint but you can hear the orginal Japanese recording![]()
Are those glitches in the music or throughout the episodes? I guess you have to turn the volume control on full level to hear some of 'em

well i heard of a few throughout the seiries
in episode "2" the english dub when elefun asks for the information of tobio and the computer goes over the histor you hear another echo of a Japanese voice and in save the classmate episode when astro is outside of class you hear kids in the background shouting in Japanese

Wow, you're so right! With all the times I watched it I never picked that up before.
Here's a comparison for anyone who's interested:
Toby's File (English) (148k)
Toby's File (Japanese) (148k)
The electronic sounding voice must have been part of the music/effects track rather than the vocal overlay. I'm pretty sure the makers of the English dub got voice-free audio to work with (most of the time!
.
The schoolchildren are also Japanese, but that's a little harder to pick and not very good for a downloadable example.

You can hear them most clearly in the following lines:
Astro: "How are you, Goliath?" (at the episodes beginning)
Inspector Gumshoe: "I'm responsible. You two give me a headache." (somewhere in the middle)
First I thought it was a malfunction of the VCRs audio-head or the cassette's tape-reel got magnetized the windings in course of the time.
Fortunately it's only the dubbing <_< .
