And the state pays for the funeral of it's soldiers... How is it that this generation is so useless and twisted that it does not know who buries the dead soldiers? Does that mean the state pays for the cross? That means the state pays for the burrial and ceremony. This is of course a minimum for a state to provide to a soldier killed on duty. Whether the burrial includes a cross or not is not the state's business I hope you make the difference between paying for a cross, or paying for a burrial/obsequy that happen to eventually include a cross

This is the signet or ring of the Prophet. This is the Ring of power.

This is the mystery of the Prodigal Son. And the Ring appears again. From time immemorial warriors and kings and Knights have sought these things. The Ring that the catholic kisses when greeting a high church official is based on the desire for this Ring. A boy has desire for all things magical and divine etched in his heart in early boyhood. The Magic sword.... The Magic Ring..... The Magic chain that can overcome the Great Dragon.
But the basis for these things are in the Cosmic Divine. Mythology to some.
Rather than argue with the blind and wicked mind of the mob possessed by the Dragon, The wise just told all things in fairy tales and parables. But the basis of these remain the ancient Holy stories of what God did for Boys born of a woman. :wahah: B)

Ok, let's be serious I managed to understand that some ring is implied in your text. I just can't find the word "ring" in the Genesis part, only words such as signet, bracelet and staff What is the link between those objects, the ring referred by Luke, the Ring of Church Officials, and the Ring of Power? All of them are rings, right. But what can link all of them beside that?

You continue to speak only your own language, only made of comparisons and metaphores... Not to say it is a bad thing, but as you can see nobody seems to understand you. Did you consider trying to learn our language? Personnally I try to learn yours although it is not easy By learning each other's language we may reach a common language understood by everybody. I try to learn how induction can be an absolute inference rule, and you should try to learn how deduction can fit as an inference rule

You showed a parallel between rings in Christianism and the Ring of Power. But you didn't specify where Gandalf's loyalty lies. That was the clear question
