I found a 1 handed playstation controller, but I just use it as a remote for winamp with my second console-usb adapter. There are programs that will map any direct-x input to any keyboard or mouse command so you can usually remap any game's controlls to work with any joypad you might have- they make old dos games alot easier to play.
Edit: it's an Ascii Grip Controller, lik-sang has a couple single handed controllers there I hadn't noticed. The one with the 2 analog controls is so cool I gotta buy it now (I'm addicted to buying new gamepads, got a couple boxes full and I don't even play many games on PC since I got a Flash Advance linker for my GBA).
I should have know. Should have seen it coming.

I, Robot, eh?
Whenever I see an add for that I can't help but think;
"This looks like a job for...ASTROBOY!"
Whenever I see ads for this, I have an image of Astro seeing the ads and being mortified by it.
"Oh my god! That's disgusting! He just shot that robot! OH MY GOD! HIS HEAD JUST FLEW OFF!"
