Played Astroboy PS2

This was a fun game. Atom looked all shiney and bouncy, it was great fun. The demo came inside the official Playstation Magazine..Okay now to tell you details..If you don't want to know don't read the rest..

Ok, I tossed the disc in and clicked on the Astroboy demo picture on the menu. It said 'now loading' in a blue cartoon font. Then it popped into the title screen with the orcheastrated 'Atoms Waltz' in the background. I listened for a bit, suprised that they had that song at the beginning. Then when I pressed start, another 'now loading' screen came up. When the level loaded it was that really bad techno music from the intro of the dub. I nearly vomited and began to fight the enemies. I defeated the enemies and a door opened..I went through the door and the music changed to soft orchestrated music. I can't recall the song title..I end up fighting more enemies with the new acquired beam. And then you get to fight Atlas..it's quite difficult. You have to wait from him to run out of energy then you attack. I blasted him a couple times then the demo cut out on me.. <_< I'll beat him quicker later tonight and post what happens when I win..
I hope they replace the techno junk and have a Japanese language option before the full release is out. I'll definately rent this to try it out more. I dunno about buying it..Im getting the GBA one though.
The demo overall was fun and I could play it more than once..and I usually couldn't play demos a lot.

Anyone else get to play the demo yet?

The issue is the September issue. The newest one.
It's basically about the new racing games being released..and it's a grey colour.

Okay, cool! Oh, just to be sure, this is the US version, right? The magazine I mean.

Yeah, It's the Official U.S Playstation Magazine..

Oh, and I just noticed something in the game..Atom seems to say "Lets Rocket!" quite often. Not as much as the catch phrases in the TMNT game and it doesn't get annoying..

Oh, and at the title screen, he says; "Its me, Astroboy" or something like that. I just ignored the raspy voice and listened to 'Atoms Waltz'..*drools*

I've read some reviews and most of them seem negative. Everyone, don't go by the reviews..try it yourself. The only real bad thing in the demo is the camera angles..and you can control them. It's not a big deal.

Strange, because all of the reviews I read on the game were good ones. Oh well, I think people should make their own opinion and not go by the reviews.
