Good question. Hey all you artistically inclined people, draw Atom & friends as KISS fans wearing full costume!

NUKU NUKU TV has two characters who dress in KISS-like costumes. Bloody Akiko's henchmen are always funny!

Does it have to be "Kiss" fans? I'm not familliar with this band and actually I am not a fan of modern music only classical(which is very ironic because i'm a teen) I drew Atom once playing an acoustic guitar but it sucks big time!

I can't believe it  There IS another teen who likes classical music other than me :D Although I am not a teen anymore since many years... But I still LOVE classical music ;)

I saw this thread a few hours ago and I was really hoping someone would resurrect the "altered pictures" humor we had going in another thread a while ago. If I had more time right now I would hunt out the thread and link it.. but it would be up to another member here to photoshop it appropriately as I don't have it installed right now.

COme on all you artistically inclined members who like a good laugh.. doctor up a pic of this will you?

:D
three and a half years.. for what?

I started listening to KISS way back in the mid to late 70s. Since then, I have found a love for classical music, especially with cannon fire, or kettle drum thunder (heigh-ho Silver, away! ;) Well, anyway, I like oldies, esp. stuff like Get a Job, Blue Moon, & the so-called Do-wop, some country music, esp from the late man in black. Just heard the one about the boy named Sue. Anyway, as all the radio stations seem intent on playing top 40, which literally means repeating the same 40 or so titles all day long, I had to expand my likes or spend $ on CDs. There are three classical stations in my area, two of which are public radio. So I discover Prarie Home Companion & several other shows, much to my delight. I enjoy the adventures of Guy Noir, Lives of the Cowboys, and other old-time radio drama (although these are humorous).

I do not know why, but I hate classical guitar. It just seems naked and (ahhh! should have used '&' instead!!! ;) most often lacks Accompaniment by other instruments. Not too thrilled by Chopin's piano stuff except the cool part of the funeral march & (that's more like it) the Heroic Polonaise. :)

@#$^*! Most of those pics were from the dearly departed Dr. Frag, & are no longer visable!

His page still works, but there is no evidence of any recent activity there http://afk.sagamers.com/.

There are lots of cool classical music out there like:
"Flight of the Bumblebee"
" The Entertainer"
"Canon in D"
"Ballade Pour Adeline"
"exodus"
"Rhapsody in Paganini's Theme"
"The Blue Danude"<---- the undying one!
"Moonlight Sonata"
and many more!

I'm also astounded to read that. It's good to know that there's still young people around who listen to 'real' music.
The teens in my country only tend to listen to Bri Spears, Justin Timberfake
and such #&%@$£§!

I too grew up with classical music but nevertheless the fact that I'm listening to some harder stuff now, I still love to hear the works of Haendel, Haydn, Telemann and such composers.
When I was about 8 years I used to run a music-tape while falling asleep at the evenings.
It was classical music from composers such as mentioned above, but adopted for trombone and church organ - very beautiful. I still happen to listen to that music, not only for feelings connecting to my childhood but also because of the trombone's warm sound
(The trombone player's name was Branimir Slokar I think).
Together with the church organ as accompaniment this music always fascinated me.
The works of Haydn, Telemann, Haendel, de Boismortier and B. Marcello sound very special with those unusual instruments, I mean these works are basically written for Oboe/Orchestra, and now you have instead Trombone/Organ B) .

Well I'm rambling, but I think you'll get what I mean.
Good music never dies!
