I havent seen an episode in nearly 20 years but the only episodes i remember and LOVED was the one when a robot challenged all the robots on earth. He had spikes on his head and would electricute them. The descriptions of the other robots were: one guy only worked on solar energy, one was a wrester, another was a lumberjack and i think one rode a chariot. I remember them pretty clear but their names i have totally forgotten. Can someone help and tellme which episode number this is and whre i can find it?

The robot was Pluto to the Japanese, but the English named him Bruton. He first appeared in the manga in June 1964, & the Darkhorse Manga has his story in The Greatest Robot on Earth, appearing in volume 3. His story also appeared in the 2003 remake series, I think it was episodes 17 & 18 (Japanese sequence).

In the manga version of this episode Astro gets his powers increased by Dr. Tenma to fight Pluto/Bruton. The change from 100'000 to 1'000'000 horsepower made his circuits go slightly mad at the start :D .

In both the 80's ep and the manga Dr. Ochanomizu denied Astro's wish for increasing his powers. I think Doc knew what would happen afterwards  .
