hi - i worked on all 52 of the new astroboy shows -i think this show was not able to air in its original format because it was a copyright infringment on peter pan and so they changed it to a clip show - it was a legal thing...

Thanks for confirming that.....that's more or less what I figured.

Any chance you'd have an accurate guess at what episode number this episode has now been given in the series new running order? :D :D

(No problems if you don't.....but if one doesn't ask, one may never know for sure  )

Hmmm... i find it hard to believe you are who you say you are when you don't even know that the number of episodes for the 2003 series is 50 not 52. There were 52 episodes in the 80s series.

Such a shame Sony had to screw over #20 then......i mean there are plenty of shows/movies that make reference/tribute to a classic story... that isn't a breach of copyright :/ It's not like they are claiming ownership to the original story.......just look at Disney *cough* :D

Hey, I did not even notice the discrepency! Anybody who has worked on this show certainly should know at least as much as those who have only watched it! It is so easy to pass oneself as something one is not, given the ease with which one can make a post to such forums. Guest_willheim, if you are who you claim to be, you should be able to to better than merely saying thus & so. Evidence helps as does getting the number correct!
