yeah... I think the fan/sub Denkou or "into thin air," with the original music and opening and closing, is just one of the best and most precious cartoons, or pieces of film I have ever seen! It's beautiful, filled with Love and understanding. It's just great.

Yeah! I love that ep. too. And most Astro and Tezuka stuff. It's good medicine for a troubled world. If only everyone would take Tezuka's message to heart, the world would be a much better place. The man was way ahead of his time, still is

Every time I'm down, I watch an ep. of Astro or Kimba to pick me up again. like Uran's Quest from the 80's, that's a gut buster. , or the one from the recent series where Astro and Uran travel back to the prehistoric era, that's so light hearted, makes me feel good.

Well few things (maybe Oliver) will bring you out of a slump of lonely like Denkou, with it's warm comradery, and touching story... The ending when Denkou looks up and say's: "The cap'n Go's flag..... Everyone..." just sends me.
